The eye is on the prize of first videos

We are down to it. YouTube video will be filmed tomorrow. Hoping to get the first two segments filmed that would be a) Decisions required to get the channel online and b) what equipment am I using to do it. The third segment will be harder to shoot and edit since it is on editing. This will require me getting the skill to screen capture while working.

Tomorrow is also the test of running my mixing board with computer output being able to be plugged into the Canon M50. If it works it opens up a range of new audio possibilities! But tomorrow will be a big day – with luck I’ll have the first video uploaded and available by the end of the night.

The three people in the world that will stumble on the channel will be stunned by the randomness that is on the channel. I’ll be breaking a lot of rules on these first three videos. YouTube requires some very strategic decisions in order for a channel to catch on. I’m throwing those recommendations out the window for the sake of getting off the couch and hitting record.

I could pre for another ten years and never be at the level of some of the big YouTubers like Peter McKinnon or not even in the same universe as Casey Neistat who is as good as you can get at the cinematic YouTube genre. They all had to start somewhere and tomorrow is my day throw some content into the great beyond.
